Garden State Percussion Trio - EducationalGreg is a member of the Garden State Percussion Trio. We perform an average of 100 educational concerts, mostly in New Jersey, each school year. This is an exciting, well scripted and smooth running presentation that combines educational aspects with familiar music from around the world. The Garden State Percussion Trio is sponsored by Young Audiences of New Jersey and several other arts / education organizations. Audience participation is involved. . The Rootin Tootin, High Fallottin, Puttin on the Ritz, Great American Novelty BandGreg leads this septet in virtuoso performances of world famous melodies with a Spike Jones twist. Our repertoire consists of many of those songs you hear and say “I know that” but you don’t know the name. Greg will tell you not only the origin of the music but what famous TV show or movie the music was borrowed for. Almost all of the melodies we play are so famous that they are currently available as cell phone ring tones. Our set list includes (up to 2 hours of music available): Flight of the Bumblebee These are great arrangements written just for us. Our band is perfect for general audience / family concerts and we play many outdoor concerts in the summer. For smaller venues and outdoor concerts we supply our own PA.
